These trim panels are made using Oil Tempered Hardboard just like the original panels VW used when your bus was new. Our oil tempered hardboard is impregnated with a special environmentally friendly bio-oil which is polymerised by heat treatment during the manufacturing process. This treatment gives the board increased moisture resistance properties and higher bending strength values. These boards are moisture-resistant and suited to vehicle trimming applications.
Our Oil Tempered Panels are far superior to MDF and much greener than the tropical hardwood plywoods that are commonly used in similar applications.
Produced for Volkswagen Splitscreen and Baywindow campers, precision cut on our own CNC router these are a faithful reproduction of your original panels ready for you to trim.
